Outreach Community Center is proud to announce the winners of our first ever $500 scholarships. Outreach Community Center awarded the scholarships based on character and community service to two Winchester High School seniors.
The first ever recipients of the scholarships are Leah Hembrough and Thomas Cooper. Both of these individuals volunteered countless hours in their community as well as excelled in the classroom. We are excited to see what future holds for both of them.
We would also like to thank all of center's supporters for making the scholarships possible. Funds for the scholarships were raised by our trivia night fundraiser.
Outreach Community Center and Marsha Mayner were chosen as winners of the Touchstone Energy Power and Hope Award. The Touchstone Energy Power & Hope Employee Recognition Program honors co-op employees who have gone the extra mile to help those in need.
The Touchstone Energy Cooperatives brand represents a nationwide alliance made of more than 740 local, consumer-owned electric cooperatives in 46 states. Touchstone Energy co-ops collectively deliver power and energy solutions to more than 40 million members every day. Electric cooperatives distribute power for 75 percent of the U.S. land mass over 2.4 million miles of power lines.
